Contemplate on Life

What is the purpose of life? Is the purpose of life just to live, to exist, and to die? Is the purpose of life just to get up, eat, party and sleep? Is the purpose of life to build buildings, buy cars and finally leave everything behind? What is the purpose of life? Some people think the purpose of life is happiness. Sure it is, but how many people understand the meaning of happiness? Where does happiness start? What are the various peaks of happiness? Is happiness just pleasure? Or is there something that is called contentment and fulfillment? Is there something beyond contentment and fulfillment? Called bliss and Ananda? Isn’t there something beyond the basic? Unfortunately, many people don’t want to contemplate about meaning of life; they are so occupied and so absorbed by the basic life and their near and dear circumstances that they forget to look beyond. They are incapable of having long-term vision and a long sight and therefore, they live and die as frogs in the well.
