What Matters the Most in Life?

People look at the bottom line of their balance sheets. They spent their whole lives looking at the debits and credits of all the millions that comes in their life and goes out of their life. They all know that finally what matters is not all the transactions that happens in life, but the bottom line: the last line that’s at the bottom of the balance sheet. It’s great because that is the right way to live in a business. But what about life’s bottom line? How many people are actually looking at life’s bottom line? What is the bottom line of life? At the end of life, it doesn’t matter how much you earn, how much you spent, how many buildings you built and destroyed, and how many relationships you created and broke. Finally, what matters in the end is who you will become when your life is over? The bottom line is that when you’re lying on the floor dead, what matters is what did you do with your life? That’s the bottom line of life, but nobody looks it. Everybody’s so busy looking at the life’s transactions that nobody is truly looking at what the bottom line is. That is what truly matters and what needs thought.
