Be Different!

Each one of is unique in our own special way. Just like no two people look exactly the same, in the same way, no two people can be the same in thoughts and actions. The challenge in life is to accept our uniqueness and our differences. Not only our own, we must also accept the uniqueness of others. This is how we can truly celebrate life.

Most people are too scared to be themselves! Yes, that’s true. They copy others and blindly follow others, without even knowing where they are being led to. The two major factors for such a behavior are- Criticism and Neglect. Anybody who tries to break free from pre set moulds is looked down upon by those around them. Why? Why should others determine how an individual chooses to live? Yes, it is a choice! We can and we must choose what we do in life. If we worry about what others will say, we will only cripple our own dreams. Don’t allow others to dictate your life terms and rules. We all have wings to fly, don’t clip your wings!

Dare to be Different! Don’t confine your thoughts, reactions, behavior and actions based on what others have to say about them. Accept yourself for who you are, embrace your unique personality. Be yourself… Be you!

While it is true that others imprison and paralyze us, it is also true that in the pursuit of being different we mustn’t harm others. It is great to be different, as long as it is for our own personal growth and happiness. It is only when we live life on our own terms, can we live a life of freedom and liberation; freedom from old thoughts and liberation from what others think. Remember, it is your thoughts that will help you soar to the heights of fulfillment- the ultimate goal! Don’t waste this beautiful gift of life by trying to be someone you are not. There are too many ordinary people and things around us. Don’t be one of them.

Remember, ‘Good enough is not good enough!
